Description: IPL 2022 RR vs LSG : Ashwin became the First Cricketer in the IPL history to be declared retired out. During the 19th over of the Rajasthan's innings, Ashwin walked off the field and it was declared that the all-rounder was ‘retired out’. If a batter retires because of illness, injury or any other unavoidable cause, that batter can resume his innings later. If for any reason, if he don't resume his innings, that batter is to be recorded as " Retired not out " If after retiring, a batter want to resume his innings, it can be only at the fall of a wicket or the retirement of another batter. If a batter retires for any other reason, the innings of that batter may be resumed only with the consent of the opposing captain. If for any reason his innings is not resumed, that batter is to be recorded as " Retired out ". Also If a batter retires out without umpires permission, the batter is marked as retired out.
